Happy Valentines!
Just as we recover from Christmas it is time for Valentine celebrations as shop windows turn rose red. But did you know that the number of Red Roses you receive can have a different message also, 12 for Love, 25 for Congratulations and 50 for Unconditional Love. The colour Red symbolises Desire and Passion as well as Love.
For my Valentine Collection for the graves in my care I choose blooms that say you are loved, missed and remembered.
Pink Rose - Admiration, joy and gratitude
White Lisianthus - Appreciation
Pink Tulip - Declaration of Love
Rosemary - Remembrance
Pink Carnation - I will never forget you
Blue Hyacinth - Constancy of love
White Hyacinth - Beauty
Trailing Ivy - Faithfulness to each other
This year I have a Pop Up shop in Adnams Shop on the High Street in Hadleigh Suffolk. Come and see my arrangements for graves - you can place an order for me to make a fresh arrangement, customised for you to lay or arrange on your loved ones grave when you visit them. Or maybe you would prefer to keep it with you at home, perhaps in a favourite room or even hang the wreath on a tree in the garden.
